As Vincentians (St. Vincent de Paul Members) we put our faith into action. Our Vincentian vocation calls us to participate personally and directly in helping our neighbors in need by person-to-person contact and by the gift of our hearts and friendship. Vincentians are people of prayer. We pray before and after our meetings, we pray with and for our neighbors we serve, and we promote a life of prayer and reflection, both as individuals and as a community of faith sharing with our fellow members.
Vincentians, Conference members, meet regularly for reflection and prayer, fellowship, and to build our service. We continually reach out to local community organizations to learn which resources they provide so we can can better share them with our friends in need. When our home visit teams meet with families who request our help, we seek to understand each situation. We provide a listening ear to discern how best we can help, and if necessary, refer them to community resources. We pray with the family and thank God for the opportunity to help.
Thank you to all our generous benefactors who support our efforts without whom we would not be invited in to help those in dire need in our communities.
